New Buildings Limited (NB), one of the largest steel fabricators in Belize,  has been in operation since September of 1998, earning considerable experience on all aspects of structural steel buildings during this time. New Buildings embraces challenging designs as a way to push its creativity envelope and improve its quality of work and professionalism.

In 2005 New Buildings expanded its service offering to include crane services, offering three different crane sizes. This proved to be very effective and efficient for structural installation and for reducing the rental cost to clients since all necessary equipment is available in-house. Belize Natural Energy is one such client who has recognized this value and has made NB their primary source for crane services.

Crane services is tiered across the following:

• Less than twelve tons : Mack boom truck. 

• Up to fifty tons: Grove TMS475 Hydraulic Telescoping Truck Crane

• Up to sixty tons: Grove TMS865 Hydraulic Telescoping Truck Crane

Simultaneous service by multiple cranes for particular installations make New Buildings a one-stop contractor for clients whose requirements demand this type of service.

In 2015 NB expanded once more, this time providing turnkey design, managing the entirety of client projects — from conception to completion. NB leverages qualified local engineers, architects and certification officials to ensure professionally-designed projects and the delivery of high-level return on investment for its client base.

New Buildings was founded in 1998 and has quickly grown to become one of the dominant steel fabricators in Belize. Along with his brother Frank, Henry founded New Buildings in 1998. With over twenty years in steel fabrication and the installation of steel structures, Henry is the mastermind behind the structural steel designs and is the operations manager of New Buildings.

Prior to founding NB, Henry worked as a professional welder in Canada and is well-immersed in the world of welding and CAD design. Henry employs SolidWorks for his precision steel designs and materials calculations.

Henry lives with his family in the Spanish Lookout area and spends all of his after-work time on his farm.

Steve grew up in rural Tennessee and migrated to Belize in early 2009. Steve acquired extensive concrete construction experience in the USA and brought those skills to Belize. Steve was discovered by New Buildings in 2017 and was brought on board as their concrete supervisor and general on-site supervisor. He lives in the Spanish Lookout area with his family and —like Henry—spends all of his off-work hours on his farm.
